Lactoferrin – a second immune system in a capsule
Lactoferrin is a protein produced naturally by the body and – older than humankind itself – a fundamental component of the human immune system. A person receives their first significant dose via breast milk. Lactoferrin is produced in small quantities by the body itself and is found in almost all bodily fluids, such as tears or saliva. Furthermore, lactoferrin belongs to the group of transferrins, the so-called iron transport proteins.
Lactoferrin has properties that we, as adults, should not do without, as our immune system weakens with age. Furthermore, we (and therefore our immune system) have never faced so many challenges as environmental pollution or the stresses of everyday life. Added to this is the fact that we exercise significantly less than our ancestors did. When it comes to our diet, too, we do not always ensure we are getting enough of the nutrients that are important for us. In the long term, all these factors can place a strain on our immune system and take a heavy toll on it. It is now well established that immune system disorders underlie most chronic illnesses.

Recommended intake
Take one capsule twice a day (400 mg in total) with 150 ml of water, preferably on an empty stomach. Take the first dose immediately after getting up. Take the second dose 30 minutes before your last meal or before going to bed.
