Lactobacillus fermentum ME-3® is a bacterial strain that was isolated 20 years ago by scientists at the University of Tartu in Estonia. It is a remarkably well-characterized, scientifically validated strain. Two Essential ME-3® capsules provide a high dose of 8 billion microencapsulated bacteria. Essential ME-3® can be taken both as a short-term treatment and over longer periods of time.
